all hump days should be so good
While in one breath it was the best time i had spent all week, it made me realise how much stuff Cammy needs that we haven't gotten to. She needs more learning stuff, and things to make her day more enjoyable. more things that make her think and I am gonna do my very best to get it together.
We also pledge to go to the science center once a week (they are open late of fridays) so she has the chance to have some away from home time. i know how much I need alawy from home time, and I work away from home eight hours a day, Cammy doesn't get that luxury of leaving nad coming back so until school starts for her, we are gonna work harder at gettign her and us out of the house more often.
need to pick up those gel seats for the bikes so my butt doesn't hurt for a week after the ride.

Awwwww! Lol...Honey I'm sorry to hear your butt hurts! I can't do antything about that...sorry...One REALLY fun thing I used to do with my kids was to make vanilla pudding and divide it into several little cups...adding different colored food coloring to each one...then using it as finger paints. I think Cammy would likely enjoy that. (BTW...I love the science center as well...but the one in Pigeon Forge Kicks BUTT! Lol)
BTW...here is the addy of another blog that I am WAY more involved in...hope you enjoy it..

Ooooooooooh, so much to say!
First of all, the Science Center is one of the places I miss most. Sometimes I really hate that I'm not in STL anymore. There are sooooooo many good, educational, casual, FREE things to do, and now that I have a kid, I have even more reason to miss those aspects of my hometown. I'm sure Cammy gets a kick out of the building blocks, the funny mirrors, the tornado, and the huge dinosaur at the Science Center. I'll be in STL for 2 wks in Sept and the Center is one of the places on my list of things to do w/Amiri.
Now, on to the bike seat. Girl, when I got here, I bought a bike and my husband and I went riding up the river. Like you, I couldn't walk straight for a week after. I SWEAR, someone needs to invent a bike seat for BIG BOOTY GIRLS!!! They would make a TON of $$$$$$$. I'd be the first to buy one. I haven't touched my bike since this spring (yes, I went riding while pregnant and immediately regreted it), and I don't plan on riding again until I find a seat big enough to fit my big ass comfortably. The gel seat I bought did nothing for me, but let me know how yours works out.
Hey Napisoul,
They've got bike seats for us...um...Glutteous Maximus Advantaged...at bike shops. They're wider, and well padded. You just have to remove the old one and attatch the new. I plan on getting one for me and Raquita when fundings allow. Definately look into one. IF you come to STL, you can go the the bike shop in the loop, or the big one in Maplewood, if you need to, but any of them should have some.

Try Hearthsong.com for educational toys. They always have things on clearance, my favorite word!!! Use my coupon code: NEXTSONG for 10% off your entire order. I try to get my kids better toys too. I realized how important it is. But back when my parents raised us it was like you better not break your stuff cause you could not be sure when a new toy would be coming again, probably once a year, Christmas. But variety is good because kids get bored and advance so quickly. I hope you like the site.
That is a gorgeous picture! How wonderful that you took the day off! We like Ryan's room and Melissa and Doug for toys that help development!
Sorry to read about your butt, a good seat does make a world of difference!
OOOOOHHHHH I love the science center!!! Its awesome!
We will be moving back (99.9% sure) next summer. Cammy and my kids can go together and we can chit chat :) Okay...we can play there too! lol.
